The development of occupational health management system.
Background
This course is designed to provide a step-bystep guide to
the implementation of an occupational health management system
(OHMS) and thus provide practical training in this area. It
is structured so as to give delegates the knowledge and confidence
to design and implement a system within their organization.
The course includes references to management standards, such
as OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001, BS 8555, and performance-related
standards. Also inclusive in this course are practical exercises,
interactive workshops, case studies, study materials Includes
a continuous assessment element, and an end-of-course examination
relevant to the course content, or an assessed post-course
delegate project
Aim
To give delegates an understanding of
the key features of implementing an OHMS that will be relevant
to their own organisation system.
